Future Tense Inc. is an award winning Foresight & Innovation Studio that uses keen cultural insight to help businesses, brands and institutions build resilient and adaptable strategies and models.
We have imagined plural, culturally inspired, decolonised futures across geographies for brands like Playboy, Danone, International Federation of Red Cross & Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), IKEA, Ontex, Domestic + General, Scotch Malt Whisky Society, etc. to build robust 10+ year business strategies and uncover new opportunities and business models.
We help our clients across a wide range of opportunities from understanding the future of hydration across markets as diverse as Indonesia, China, France, Spain and US to develop a 10 year organisational strategy, to unearthing the emerging Indian perspectives on pleasure, sensuality and sexuality and executing a market entry strategy, to delving into the innovations in the world of alco-bev and researching the growing trends in whisky to develop new products and experiences.

Our work is rooted in culture nuance, we work with our clients at all stages from horizon scanning to culture and trends research, all the way to business and CX strategy, new product innovation and partnerships. For each project we curate a bespoke team from our global network of experts in research, design, technology, and other disciplines.
Constant experimentation is a key to our ethos as we look to continue evolving our methods while also contributing to evolution of the foresight field through researching alternative foresight methods and experimental projects such as Variations on Tomorrow — a zine imagining a variety of possible futures — speaking at conferences, guest lecturing at global universities and mentoring young speculative designers and foresight strategists.
Mansi Parikh is an award winning foresight and innovation strategist and the founder of Future Tense Inc. A consummate generalist she explores the liminal spaces between the past, present and futures, real and imagined. Through experimentation and research she uncovers new perspectives & deconstructs the mundane to imagine the possibilities of tomorrows.
A full stack venture builder she has worked across the for profit and nonprofit sector to manage brands and communications, lead strategy and help build new business models through scenario planning and business design. She has worked on Business Design, Innovation, Business and Brand Strategy projects for brands like Playboy, Danone, Bacardi, Ontex, Scotch Malt Whisky Society, etc. and in social impact build models for regenerative Rural Futures in the Eastern Himalayas at Balipara Foundation.
